이장옥 작가의 밥그릇은 먹을 묻힌 세필로 점을 찍고 날리듯이 표현하여 화강암처럼 보이게 하였다. 달을 닮은 모습을 생각 하다 화강암이 마치 달의 표면 같아 이 기법을 사용하게 되었다고 한다. 넓둥근 밥그릇 안에는 아크릴로 밥알 크기의 꽃잎을 그려 고봉밥을 완성한다. 꽃밥을 그리다보면 어느새 이장옥 작가는 무아지경에 빠져든다. ” 나도 모르게 슬며시 미소를지으며 마지막 붓질을 한다. 나의 소망이, 희망이 깃들기를 바라며 보시기에 참 좋았다 라고 느 꼈으면 한다.”

Lee Jang-ok’s rice bowl was made to look like granite by marking dots with ink-coated ceilings and expressing them as if flying. While thinking about the appearance of the moon, it is said that granite is like the surface of the moon, and this technique was used. Inside the wide rice bowl, acrylic petals are drawn the size of rice grains to complete Gobongbap. As I draw flower rice, artist Lee Jang-ok becomes into a trance. “I sneak a smile and brush my last brush without realizing it. I hope there is hope and I feel that it was good to see.”
